Driving directions: From South:Oslo/Elverum/Sälen/Karlstad Two kilometres before you arrive to Trysil, turn left towards Vestby. After about 1,5 kilometres turn left in the roundabout. Continue past the alpine facility to Vestby about 16 km.Akre Hyttegrend is the first place on your left,
Coming the way from Oslo/Elverum, you can also exit rv 25 about half the way between Elverum and Trysil, where there are signs marked Vestby. Drive about 2 km, sign Akrehyttene and make a right turn in that intersection. After 300 metres, make a left (road to the right is marked end road), ovar a bridge, upwards along Lake Osen s east side. After 2-3 km, the way to Vestby makes a right. This sign is easy to, overlook. After about 15 km, make a right turn again. A lake, Ulvsjøen, is in front of you. Follow the road for about 2-3 km through the centre and you will have Akre Hyttegrend to your right, sign Akrehyttene. This road is about 40 km shorter, although the standard of the road is worse.
From North: Engerdal/Idre/Trondheim Make a left towards Trysil Sentrum, and then the first to the right towards Trysilfjellet South. After about two km you will come to a roundabout, here you drive straight forward. Continue past the alpine facility tol Vestby, about 16 km. Akre Hyttegrend is the first place on your left, sign Akrehyttene.
